Distillerie Rémy Piron - JM’s Cognac – Baby Batch n°1

"As a distiller in the Cognac region, and a lover of Paris and American bars, I wanted to create a rich, rounded, powerful cognac that could be enjoyed on the rocks or in cocktails.

To achieve this, we started with a VSOP blend created four years ago. It had been maturing in barrel no. 23. Over the past two years, we have enriched this initial blend with successive small touches, adding batches of cognac that are sometimes older, sometimes younger, in search of what we felt was the ideal balance: power and richness.

On the palate, it offers an explosion of intense and delicate flavors, perfect for those who love strong sensations. Elegant and versatile, it is equally impressive neat or in cocktails, for moments of sharing and exceptional enjoyment.

Tasting on June 8, 2024:The nose is elegant and powerful with rich, toasted, roasted, vanilla and fruity notes. The palate is supple and balanced, without excessive structure. The alcohol is well integrated, without aggressiveness. Good length."
