Cognac Frapin - Château Fontpinot XO 100ème anniversary, Limited edition

1923 - 2023: Cognac Frapin celebrates the centenary of Fontpinot Cognac and 100 years of tasting.

Created by Pierre Frapin 100 years ago, Fontpinot cognac delights demanding epicureans. To celebrate the centenary, Cognac Frapin releases this limited edition anniversary packaging. Inspired by the original label, it brings back the symbols of the domaine and the colors popular during the Roaring Twenties. The bottle is presented in a wooden box inspired by the straw-lined crates used at the time.

A true treasure of the House of Frapin, Château Fontpinot XO is the only premier cru château to have the internationally renowned 100% Grande Champagne appellation. Entirely harvested, distilled and aged on the family estate, this cognac benefits from the very rare Château appellation. Its distillation with lees, followed by a slow and patient aging in dry cellars, gives it the special character of one of the oldest reserves of the Château.

Silky color with warm, golden, slightly coppery reflections. The result of a long aging process, particularly in dry cellars, it offers a subtle, complex, fine and persistent bouquet, composed of candied fruit aromas (dried apricot, dried fig), almond paste, hazelnut, nougat, then notes of port, and finally the famous "Rancio".

The mouth is balanced, rich and complex with aromas of dried fruits, candied fruits, and an exceptional length. Add a drop of water to Château Fontpinot XO to exhale the aromas and soften the power of the cognac.
