Domaine Guillot-Broux « La Myotte » 2022 - Bourgogne Rouge (organic)

A cuvée produced only in the best years. It comes from the estate's oldest Pinot Noir vines, planted in 1956 from Pommard grafts. Aged for 11 months in oak barrels. Ageing potential: 10 to 15 years.

La Myotte offers aromas of cherries, raw cocoa, spices, orange peel, and peony in a complex blend. Medium-bodied to full-bodied, lively and concentrated, it is structured around lively acidity and fine, powdery tannins, finishing with a chalky touch on the palate. This is a Pinot Noir from a terroir generally reserved for Gamay.

Domaine Guillot-Broux was founded in 1978 by Jean-Gérard and Jacqueline Guillot (Broux was her maiden name). The estate is now run by their children, Patrice and Emmanuel Guillot. The 17 hectares of vines are spread over 3 villages: Cruzille, Grévilly and Chardonnay, divided into 3 appellations: Bourgogne, Mâcon Cruzille and Mâcon Chardonnay.
