Domaine Guillot-Broux 2023 - Mâcon Cruzille rouge (organic)

Domaine Guillot-Broux was founded in 1978 by Jean-Gérard and Jacqueline Guillot (Broux was her maiden name). The estate is now run by their children, Patrice and Emmanuel Guillot. The 17 hectares of vines are spread over 3 villages: Cruzille, Grévilly and Chardonnay, divided into 3 appellations: Bourgogne, Mâcon Cruzille and Mâcon Chardonnay. 

All the Gamays of the Domaine are pruned in cordon Royat in order to limit the natural vigor of the grape variety. On the clay-limestone soils of the Mâconnais, the wines express a peppery and spicy character that is quite particular.

Traditional barrel aging for 11 months to develop complexity and elegance. A free, pure, and vibrant wine, with great integrity and authenticity. It reveals all the natural elegance of Burgundy Gamay with a frank and mineral expression.
