Maison Guillot-Broux "Les Perrières" 2022 - Mâcon-Cruzille blanc (bio)
Domaine Guillot-Broux was founded in 1978 by Jean-Gérard and Jacqueline Guillot (Broux was her maiden name). The estate is now run by their children, Patrice and Emmanuel Guillot. The 17 hectares of vines are spread over 3 villages: Cruzille, Grévilly and Chardonnay, divided into 3 appellations: Bourgogne, Mâcon Cruzille and Mâcon Chardonnay.
Les Perrières is a very picturesque vineyard, with three terraces supported by dry stone walls and surrounded by woods. The soil is very stony, hence the name Les Perrières (the stony place). It is composed of oolitic limestone (microscopic fossils) and is very rich in iron and manganese. The wines are particularly suited to aging.
A mineral and complex wine, aged for 11 months in oak barrels. Aging potential of over 15 years.
