Bache-Gabrielsen "La Coupe" Cognac - 120 years anniversary limited edition

The Bache-Gabrielsen 120th Anniversary Cup celebrates the House’s anniversary. This limited edition of just 1,905 numbered bottles – a nod to the year of its founding – is an exceptional tribute to this family heritage. This rare blend brings together eaux-de-vie from Grande Champagne, the premier cru of cognac, including a century-old eau-de-vie aged for over 100 years. Crafted from Ugni Blanc grapes, it has an alcohol content of 40.6%.

This exceptional cuvée bears witness to the expertise passed down through the generations and the House’s ability to preserve these liquid treasures over the decades. Its delicate, fruity profile, with notes of flowers, nuts and chocolate, reveals the full complexity and elegance that Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie can achieve after prolonged ageing.

The Bache-Gabrielsen house was founded in 1905 by Thomas Bache-Gabrielsen, a Norwegian who had moved to France. Since then, cognac production has remained in the family, and today the founder’s great-grandson, Hervé Bache-Gabrielsen, has taken the reins of the company, with Jean-Philippe Bergier as cellar master. As a négociant-éleveur, the house prides itself on selecting only the finest eaux-de-vie from Grande Champagne. It ages them carefully in Limousin oak casks to bring out their full potential.
