Tasting notes from May 23, 2024: An exceptional Petite Champagne with an incredible nose; rich and powerful on the palate, with very elegant aromas of rancio, floral notes such as lily, and all the power of more candied, honeyed notes of gingerbread, cocoa, and nutmeg. The woody aromas of noble woods are also present and well integrated. On the palate, you can feel all the concentration of time with a beautiful structure that remains elegant and supple, and an aromatic explosion. There are some notes of licorice and smoke in addition to the generosity already described. Very nice persistence of the aromatic bouquet.

It comes in a sleek 500 ml bottle with a wax-sealed cork. Its "raw from the barrel" aesthetic, with eco-friendly packaging, is its pride: a streamlined bottle wrapped in Moulin de Verger paper, reducing material waste. The back label is cut from the central imprint of the main label and hand-glued without adhesive. The natural cork stopper is reminiscent of barrel bungs. The absence of a case underlines the minimalist approach, with a light 60g paper overwrap, applied by hand.
