Cognac Frapin - Château Fontpinot XO

A true treasure of the House of Frapin, Château Fontpinot XO is the only premier cru château to have the internationally renowned 100% Grande Champagne appellation. Entirely harvested, distilled and aged on the family estate, this cognac benefits from the very rare Château appellation. Its distillation with lees, followed by a slow and patient aging in dry cellars, gives it the special character of one of the oldest reserves of the Château.

Château Fontpinot XO is distinguished from the outset by its silky color with warm, golden, slightly coppery reflections. The result of a long aging process, particularly in dry cellars, it offers a subtle, complex, fine and persistent bouquet, composed of candied fruit aromas (dried apricot, dried fig), almond paste, hazelnut, nougat, then notes of port, and finally the famous "Rancio".

The mouth is balanced, rich and complex with aromas of dried fruits, candied fruits, and an exceptional length. Add a drop of water to Château Fontpinot XO to exhale the aromas and soften the power of the cognac.
