Acienda Palazzo Rosso di Montalcino 2019 - Italie (organic)
In 1982, Cosimo Loia and Antonietta Palazzo, captivated by Montalcino, visited several estates before finding the place of their dreams: a 12-hectare hillside property with a 17th-century farmhouse that overlooks the spectacular Val d'Orcia, later recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was also a sign of fate. The company was called Palazzo: like Antonietta's family name.
Made exclusively from Sangiovese, this wine is aged for 12-15 months in 20/25hl oak barrels. The nose is full and rich with notes of fresh flowers, spices and small red fruits. On the palate, it is warm, enveloping, savory and mineral. Its acidity is lively, with velvety tannins and a long finish.
