A blend of Grenache noir and Carignan noir, Patchwork is a powerful, well-balanced red wine. Aromas of black fruits (blackberry, blackcurrant), spicy notes of black pepper and garrigue. On the palate, it is well-structured, with fine tannins and good length

Cathy and Daniel Laffite set up Domaine des Soulanes in 2002, on plots of land that had been farmed organically since 1972. The estate is located in the commune of Tautavel, in the Maury production area. It lies in a natural corridor surrounded by scrubland, at the foot of the rocky peaks of the last Cathar stronghold, the Château de Quéribus. Its name comes from the geographical term ‘soulane’ meaning a hillside facing south-south-east.
