Hakushu 18 Peated Malt is made from carefully selected malt whiskies, all aged for at least 18 years in different casks, created in honour of House of Suntory's 100th anniversary. The blenders work with peat, while softening the palate with the region's exceptional mountain water, filtered through ancient granite rocks. Refined and elegant, this Hakushu Peated Malt brings a discreet smoke in typical Japanese style, complex and smooth. The first note is spicy and peppery; a slow wave of smoke deepens as it reveals its herbal aromas and green fruity nuances. 48 °.

A member of the Yamazaki family, Japan's whisky par excellence, Hakushu 18 Year Old is made in Japan's first and oldest malt distillery, founded in 1923 by Keizo Saji, son of Suntory founder Shinjiro Torii. It is located at the foot of Mount Kaikomagatake in the heart of a lush, unspoilt forest, and takes full advantage of its unique natural environment. The illustration on the bottle depicts the Hakushu distillery and the surrounding forest.
