Hakushu 12 Single Malt is made from carefully selected malt whiskies, all aged for a minimum of 12 years in different casks, created in honour of Suntory Whisky's centenary. The blenders work with peat, while softening the palate with the region's exceptional mountain water, filtered through ancient granite rocks. The result is a smoky, fresh and smooth single malt whisky, a real revelation in the field of Japanese single malts. 43 °

A member of the Yamazaki family, Japan's whisky par excellence, Hakushu 12 Year Old is made in Japan's first and oldest malt distillery, founded in 1923 by Keizo Saji, son of Suntory founder Shinjiro Torii. It is located at the foot of Mount Kaikomagatake in the heart of a lush, unspoilt forest, and takes full advantage of its unique natural environment. The illustration on the bottle depicts the Hakushu distillery and the surrounding forest.
