Cognac Rémy Martin - 1738 Accord Royal
Created as a tribute to the royal agreement issued by Louis XV to Rémy Martin in 1738, recognizing the excellence of the House's know-how, this Cognac distinguishes itself by its singular, woody and unctuous aromatic profile.
The blend is exclusively from the Fine Champagne terroir - 65% Grande Champagne and 35% Petite Champagne - and contains eaux-de-vie aged from 4 to 20 years, with an average age of 12 years.
The gourmet notes of fig and plum jam are enveloped by intense woody notes, toffee and toast. On the palate, the smoothness reveals aromas of caramel, dark chocolate, with a touch of spices. Thanks to the masterful blending of eaux-de-vie aged in freshly toasted oak barrels, this cognac offers a roundness punctuated by nutty flavors and its finish leaves a pleasant creamy taste.
The house of Rémy Martin was created in 1724 by Rémy Martin, who came from a long line of Charente winemakers.
