Cognac J. Dupont - Art de Vie
Much more than a Cognac, an ode to the French art of living! A complex and confidential masterpiece (only 365 bottles), presented in a crystal decanter and jealously guarded under a bell.
A blend of rare and ancient eaux-de-vie, Art de Vie has an amber color with mahogany highlights. It distills a profusion of fruity, spicy and woody aromas: orange marmalade, candied fruits, spicy scents accompanied by a subtle touch of saffron and dried flowers (iris, narcissus) and on the palate a richness of candied fruit aromas (dried apricot, orange peel). Elegant, it offers rich flavors of old port, nutmeg and cigar box.
Created in 1878, the J.Dupont house became a partner in the art of living of this era, marked by creativity and freedom, and their Cognac is associated with refinement and the pleasure of living. Their vineyards are located in Grande Champagne, Premier Cru de Cognac, on the best terroirs of the appellation: Bouteville, Segonzac, Angeac-Champagne, Juillac le Coq.
In 1992, the Dupont house passed into the hands of Eric and Xavier Boinaud. From their father Michel, they inherited his passion for blending the finest eaux-de-vie of the Grande Champagne region. 2014 marks the revival of the brand, reworked and marketed by Charles and Rémi, 24th generation of the Boinaud family.
