Cognac J. Dupont - Art Déco XO
Available in limited quantities of 10,000 bottles per year, Art Déco XO is made from Grande Champagne vines. This 1er Cru de Cognac has been expertly crafted by Rémi Boinaud, cellar master. It is luminous, fine, elegant, with a honeyed and spicy richness. It presents notes of orange marmalade and candied fruits, and a well-balanced rancio accompanied by vanilla flavors. The mouth is round, silky, ample, and the finish harmonious, with a very nice length.
Created in 1878, the J.Dupont house became a partner in the art of living of this era, marked by creativity and freedom, and their Cognac is associated with refinement and the pleasure of living. Their vineyards are located in Grande Champagne, Premier Cru de Cognac, on the best terroirs of the appellation: Bouteville, Segonzac, Angeac-Champagne, Juillac le Coq.
In 1992, the Dupont house passed into the hands of Eric and Xavier Boinaud. From their father Michel, they inherited his passion for blending the finest eaux-de-vie of the Grande Champagne region. 2014 marks the revival of the brand, reworked and marketed by Charles and Rémi, 24th generation of the Boinaud family.
