Millésime 1989 - Cognac J. Dupont
Only 500 bottles were produced from this great year. Made from Grande Champagne vines, this vintage was aged for 30 years in oak barrels. Notes of coffee, spice, prune and cinnamon provide a subtle and finely roasted bouquet. The palate offers a delicate sensation of lightness with notes of vanilla, cocoa, nuts, and also old port.
Created in 1878, the J.Dupont house became a partner in the art of living of this era, marked by creativity and freedom, and their Cognac is associated with refinement and the pleasure of living. Their vineyards are located in Grande Champagne, Premier Cru de Cognac, on the best terroirs of the appellation: Bouteville, Segonzac, Angeac-Champagne, Juillac le Coq.
In 1992, the Dupont house passed into the hands of Eric and Xavier Boinaud. From their father Michel, they inherited his passion for blending the finest eaux-de-vie of the Grande Champagne region. 2014 marks the revival of the brand, reworked and marketed by Charles and Rémi, 24th generation of the Boinaud family.
