Domaine des Soulanes - Maury 2024 (Bio - Vin Doux Naturel)

A superb white Maury with notes of exotic fruit, citrus and honey. Round and well-balanced on the palate with great length and finesse. Aged in stainless steel vats on fine lees. Serve at 12°C.

Cathy and Daniel Laffite set up Domaine des Soulanes in 2002, on plots of land that had been farmed organically since 1972. The estate is located in the commune of Tautavel, in the Maury production area. It lies in a natural corridor surrounded by scrubland, at the foot of the rocky peaks of the last Cathar stronghold, the Château de Quéribus. Its name comes from the geographical term ‘soulane’ meaning a hillside facing south-south-east.
