Domaine Py - "Clos de Jeanne" Corbières 2023 (bio)

Clos de Jeanne is a delicate, balanced, and delicious wine. On the palate, it offers an explosion of fresh fruit and silky tannins.

The grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness, then vinified separately according to plot and variety. Whole-bunch carbonic maceration is used for the Syrah, while the traditional Grenache is punched down and pumped over, with destemming and temperature control.

Aging: in amphorae for the Syrah and in concrete vats for the Grenache. 

The Domaine Py vineyard is located in the south of the Languedoc wine region in the Aude department, at the foot of the Alaric mountain, between the Mediterranean and the Pyrenees. The estate, created in 2003 by Jean-Pierre Py, has been cultivated organically since 2008 and recently biodynamically. This excellent development has enabled it to rank among the great wines of the Corbières region today
