Le Roi Bœuf 2020
Inducted into the brotherhood of "La fête des boeufs gras", Lionel Osmin seized this opportunity to participate in the safeguarding of the Bazadaise breed, with the complicity and blessing of 3-star chef Michel Guérard. Here is a red wine with a deep color, with generous aromas of wild fruits, vanilla and spices. The barrel ageing is discreet and subtly completes the aromatic palette with toasted and roasted notes. The attack in mouth is frank, with supple tannins, the final is long.
This cuvée comes from grapes from the Armagnac vineyard, a vineyard in the southwest of France and more precisely in the wine regions of Bas Armagnac, Haut Armagnac and Armagnac Tenareze. This terroir benefits from a temperate oceanic climate.
At the beginning, companions in love with the wines of the South-West decided to share their passion... They soon had an idea, a tenuous one, to do what no one had ever done, to create a quality wine merchant's house on the theme of the wines of the South-West, following the example of other regions such as Burgundy, the Rhone... Under the impulse of Lionel Osmin, "Lionel Osmin et Cie" was born, to carry loudly and clearly the discovery of the grape varieties and unique terroirs of this region: Jurançon, Cahors, Gaillac, Bergerac, and even Marcillac.
