Kamnik - "Winemaker's Selection" 2020 - North Macedonia
This dry, full-bodied red wine is made from a blend of Vranec, a bold and robust local variety, Merlot and Carménère. It offers complex aromas of red fruits (ripe cherries) and spices, with discreet vanilla undertones. It is both structured and velvety, with soft tannins.
The Kamnik estate was created by Ilija Malinkovski in 2004. It is located in North Macedonia, in the wine region of Skopje, in the heart of the Balkans. The current 17 hectares of vineyards stretch across hills with a minimum height of 300 m above sea level, with a southern slope exposition. The surrounding mountains create a microclimate that allows the vines to thrive.
