Domaine Guillot-Broux was founded in 1978 by Jean-Gérard and Jacqueline Guillot (Broux was her maiden name). The estate is now run by their children, Patrice and Emmanuel Guillot. The 17 hectares of vines are spread over 3 villages: Cruzille, Grévilly and Chardonnay, divided into 3 appellations: Bourgogne, Mâcon Cruzille and Mâcon Chardonnay.
This cuvée is a blend of several terroirs of the Mâconnais. The grapes from old vines are vinified in concrete tanks with indigenous yeasts. A part of the grapes is destemmed to give more finesse and elegance to the wine. The limestone terroir brings minerality and freshness while the granitic terroir brings aromas of camphor and black fruit. The wine spends 6 months in oak barrels and 2 months in tanks.
