Domaine Guillot-Broux « Les Geniévrières » 2019 - Bourgogne Rouge (organic)

Domaine Guillot-Broux was founded in 1978 by Jean-Gérard and Jacqueline Guillot (Broux was her maiden name). The estate is now run by their children, Patrice and Emmanuel Guillot. The 17 hectares of vines are spread over 3 villages: Cruzille, Grévilly and Chardonnay, divided into 3 appellations: Bourgogne, Mâcon Cruzille and Mâcon Chardonnay.

On the same terroir as the whites, this cuvée was created in 2009. Pinot noir is a very difficult grape variety to master on this terroir. It took many years and many trials both in the vineyard and in winemaking to understand them.
