Made by the distillation experts at Maison Daucourt from 100% French malted barley, Bastille 1789 is a pioneering French whisky.

The local spring water, filtered over thousands of years by the limestone rocks, gives great purity to this whisky, which has completed its ageing in casks used to produce Burgundy wine, Sauternes and sherry. This unique, subtle, slightly smoky spirit is sure to delight aficionados and novices alike.

COLOUR: A magnificent clear amber colour.

NOSE: Soft and delicious, revealing aromas of dried fruit with roasted, slightly toasted and spicy notes. Sweet attack with hints of almond.

PALATE: Complex, intense and delicious, in keeping with the nose. Aromas of mellow dried fruit and spicy notes. The finish is long, perfectly balanced and voluptuous, with notes of musk and a slight toastiness.
