Developed by the distillation experts at Maison Daucourt, Bastille 1789 is a pioneering French whisky.

The local spring water, filtered over thousands of years by the limestone rocks, gives great purity to this exceptional Single Malt. It is matured in ex-casks of prestigious red wines from the Bordeaux vineyards for a unique experience. Unfiltered, it is bottled at cask strength - 56.7%. An elegant, authentic whisky with the round, smooth character of the BASTILLE 1789 range.  An exquisite nugget! 

Tasting notes :

On the nose, fine aromas of malted cereals, delicate scent of undergrowth and slightly spicy ripe berries. The palate is smooth, powerful and perfectly balanced, revealing rich flavours of candied red fruit, almond and cocoa. The finish is long and intense, with subtle peaty notes combining oak, red berries, spices and chocolate.
