Cognac in its purest expression: this is the signature of the Pléiade collection, bringing together the treasures of the Grande Champagne region from batches of a single vineyard or a single year, without blending. Remarkable for their authenticity and aromatic complexity, these single cask cognacs reveal the natural sweetness of the fruit, worked with subtlety throughout the ageing process. Managed by Maison Delamain, La Rambaudie is an exceptional 21-hectare vineyard. Situated on the edge of a wood in the commune of Malaville, it belongs to the Grande Champagne area, Cognac's first and best cru. Comprising three valleys, its north-south exposure means it benefits from sunshine all day in summer. Domaine La Rambaudie's eaux-de-vie are distilled in November, in a 25 hectolitre still, with a very slow pour at the end of the good toasting to preserve the rich fruity notes.

‘Domaine La Rambaudie is aged in a 350-litre red Limousin oak cask in a 13th-century cellar, one of the smallest in the House. Facing due south, its two narrow ogival windows filter the light, while its thick walls perfectly regulate the temperature and humidity: an ideal setting for this remarkable cognac’."
