Grand cru classé, the estate owes its reputation as the "most Graves of the Graves" to the smoky notes that characterize its wines as well as to its hills of pebbles and semi-precious stones (ficta in Latin, and fitte in Gascon patois), deposited by the Garonne River millions of years ago.
The vineyard, owned since 1990 by the Cathiard family, covers 80 hectares producing white and red wines.
