Champagne Laurent-Perrier Brut Millésimé - Réserve 1999, magnum
Laurent-Perrier Millésimé Réserve 1999 is a blend of Chardonnay/Pinot Noir from the most prestigious Crus of the Montagne de Reims (Bouzy, Verzy, Verzenay) and the Côte des Blancs (Mesnil, Cramant, Oger, Chouilly).
Domaine Laurent-Perrier is located in Tours-sur-Marne, a picturesque village at the crossroads of the three main wine-producing regions of the Marne: the Montagne de Reims, the Vallée de la Marne and the Côte des Blancs, and is one of the 17 communes classified as Grand Cru in Champagne.
Created by André Michel Pierlot in 1812, the House was sold to Marie-Louise de Nonancourt in 1939. In 1945, her son Bernard began a demanding apprenticeship in all the stages of the business, from the vineyard to the cellar, before being appointed Chairman and CEO in October 1948 at the age of 28.
He established privileged relationships with the winegrowers and created the Laurent-Perrier style: freshness, finesse, elegance. Under his impetus, Laurent-Perrier, in barely 40 years, became a true innovator in Champagne, with a range that was exported throughout the world to more than 160 countries.
