Named after the season in which it was harvested, "Soleil d'Automne" offers the subtle sweetness of raisins from gros and petit manseng grapes. A gourmet paradox, it combines sweetness and sapidity without becoming purely sweet. This duality makes all the charm of this typically Gascon wine and symbol of an art of living. A mellow, racy and fruity white wine, a perfect marriage of fresh and dried fruits.
The symbolic first stone of Domaine Chiroulet was laid in 1893, the year in which the Armagnac community mentioned him as one of its members. At that time, the property covered five modest hectares dedicated to mixed farming and livestock, like many Gers farms of the time.
Today, Philippe Fezas is in charge of the property. Guided by a sense of challenge and with a background as an agricultural engineer and oenologist, he has set the estate on a course of excellence. In particular, his experience in wine maturation, acquired with Seguin-Moreau, a reference cooper, broadens and refines his knowledge through his own wines. He practices responsible viticulture in phase with his environment.
