Kirrihill "Regional Range" Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 - Adelaide Hills, Australia
Kirrihill was founded in 1998 by long-time friends Sean Edwards and Rob Stanway. The estate produces wines that capture the terroir of South Australia's Clare Valley and benefit from microclimates that offer a diversity of fruit and flavor profiles. The vineyards are managed sustainably, with respect for individual sites.
This Cabernet Sauvignon was sourced from premium selected parcels from the classic sub regions of the Clare Valley. The nose is abundant in blackberries, cassis and crushed violets with hints of tobacco leaf and cedar. The palate is full and rich with blackberry fruits, reminiscent of warm dark chocolate, black cherries and mulberry fruits. The tannins are fine and elegant, blending well with the subtle acidity and framing the palate in perfect symmetry. It is beautifully aged and ready to drink.
