Château Lafargue - Pessac-Léognan 2018

Made from a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, this wine is aged for 8 to 10 months in French oak barrels with bâtonnage. It combines power, delicacy, smoothness and refinement.

Located in Marcillac, Château Lafargue has been a family property since 1920. Since 2016, the domaine is managed by Carole and Lionel Peyrout, Jean-Pierre's oldest daughter and son-in-law. They are the 5th generation to take over the torch of this beautiful estate, spread over 15.5 hectares of vines: 12.5 hectares planted with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, and 3 hectares planted with Sauvignon Blanc and Sauvignon Gris.
