Cognac Forgeron - Napoleon
Like all Michel Forgeron cognacs, this Cognac Napoléon comes from the Grande Champagne terroir, the most prestigious in the Cognac production area. It is a blend of old cognacs aged 15 to 25 years in French oak barrels.
Golden-brown color with mahogany highlights. A nose of great finesse, with aromatic tension and notes of spices, nuts and caramel. But also notes of compote and pastry. Supple and round with impressive deployment of aromas on the palate and great persistence. A toasty, buttery finish. A Napoleon of great elegance, to be accompanied by an apricot tart to recall the notes of stewed yellow fruit.
The family estate has been in existence since 1909, and the "Michel Forgeron" brand was created in 1977. Today, Pierre and Christophe Forgeron take over from their parents Michel and Francine. They have set as their priority environmentally-friendly practices.
