Cognac Martell - VS Single Distillery
Rich in sweet and fruity notes, Martell VS Single Distillery cognac reveals notes of plum, apricot and candied lemon. A spicy and aromatic cognac to be enjoyed in long drinks or cocktails.
Martell is the only exceptional cognac house to carry out a double distillation of clear wines, free of their sediments, in order to preserve the authentic fruity aromas of the grapes and to reveal their aromatic finesse. This method characterizes the Martell style.
The House of Martell was founded in 1715 by Jean Martell, a daring young man who at just 21 years old was driven by an unwavering commitment to quality. This philosophy of excellence, combined with a capacity for innovation, allows the House to constantly evolve and create new expressions of cognac.
From the very beginning, Jean Martell favored the Borderies area of the Cognac vineyard, which thus became the signature terroir of the House. The clay-limestone soils of the Borderies produce delicate and elegant, floral and sweet eaux-de-vie, characteristic of the Martell style.
