Cognac Ragnaud-Sabourin N°45 "Florilège"
A blend of Ugni Blanc (60%) and Folle Blanche (40%), this cuvée with a beautiful deep bronze color has aged for 45 years, during which it has naturally reduced to 46%. It presents an attractive and elegant bouquet with aromas of baked apricot, orange and quince, joined by caramel, vanilla, oak and a surprising rancio.
The palate is thick, intense and generous. It offers aromas of candied fruits, oak, toasted spices and dried fruits leading to dark chocolate, leather and caramel. The finish is eternal.
Since 1850, the Ragnaud-Sabourin family has been cultivating a vineyard located in the heart of the Grande Champagne region, the first growth of cognac. All their cognacs have been produced and marketed for 4 generations, from the top-of-the-range eaux de vie distilled on the property and without blending of crus. Today, the estate is run by Annie Ragnaud-Sabourin and her son Olivier.
