Château Princé 2022 - Côteaux de l'Aubance (bio)
A wine with a copper color and a bewitching nose: caramelized fruits (apricots, quinces, mirabelle plums, rhubarb), sweet spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, clove...), honey. The mouth is invigorated by floral scents of lime and lemongrass, then of William pear alcohol, characteristic of the Chenin Blanc grape. An ample and warm wine, with a rare aromatic complexity, it should be served chilled (6-7°C). A few hours in a carafe will develop its aromas.
This estate located just outside Angers in the commune of Saint-Melaine-sur-Aubance was purchased by Mathias Levron and Régis Vincenot’s in 2002 - they bought Château de Parnay four years later. The estate vineyards form an exceptional plot, on a shale hillock overlooking the River Aubance. They are planted with Chenin Blanc and Cabernet franc. Château Princé was Certified Organic in 2015 by Ecocert.
