Domaine Girard - Chardonnay "Classique" 2023 - Pays d'Oc

This Chardonnay is made from clay-limestone slopes planted with 15 to 20 year old vines. It is vinified for 3 months in vats, in order to keep the maximum of aromas and freshness. It is straight and precise, with notes of lemon. 

Located in the commune of Alaigne, in the heart of the Malepère appellation, the Girard estate now covers nearly 30 hectares. It benefits from conditions favorable to the production of fresh and typical wines: altitude, Mediterranean micro-climate with oceanic influence, and splendid exposure. Philippe and Jean-François Girard took over the torch from 4 generations of winegrowers in the early 2000s. They favour terroir and quality over quantity, and they have adopted a "zero herbicide" approach.
