Les Terres Blanches" bears witness with its personality to the terroir of the Ténarèze. All in minerality and freshness, it offers aromas oscillating between exotic fruits, citrus fruits and acacia flowers.
This cuvée is born on a soil characterized by limestone outcrops called rentzines. Here, gros manseng and sauvignon blanc combine their strengths, with the fruit of old ugni blanc vines bringing its “je ne sais quoi”.
The symbolic first stone of Domaine Chiroulet was laid in 1893, the year in which the Armagnac community mentioned him as one of its members. At that time, the property covered five modest hectares dedicated to mixed farming and livestock, like many Gers farms of the time.
Today, Philippe Fezas is in charge of the property. Guided by a sense of challenge and with a background as an agricultural engineer and oenologist, he has set the estate on a course of excellence. In particular, his experience in wine maturation, acquired with Seguin-Moreau, a reference cooper, broadens and refines his knowledge through his own wines. He practices responsible viticulture in phase with his environment.
