Cognac Forgeron - Vieille Réserve

Like all Michel Forgeron cognacs, this Cognac Vieille Réserve comes from the Grande Champagne terroir, the most prestigious in the Cognac production area. It is a blend of very old cognacs aged 30 to 40 years in French oak barrels.

Light russet-brown color with golden highlights. A powerful, lively nose, with aromas of preserved lemon overtaken by woody notes of pepper, clove and fresh tobacco. The hallmark of a well-structured eau-de-vie that blossoms into a fine, graceful rancio. Long-lasting aromas of vanilla and toast. An emotion to be savored with eyes closed.

The family estate has been in existence since 1909, and the "Michel Forgeron" brand was created in 1977. Today, Pierre and Christophe Forgeron take over from their parents Michel and Francine. They have set as their priority environmentally-friendly practices.
