COGNAC A.E DOR FOR CIGAR
Specifically designed to accompany a good cigar, this Cognac has been elaborated with eaux-de-vie from the prestigious terroirs of Grande and Petite Champagne, alongside Fins Bois and Borderies, to create a full-bodied and well-structured cuvée, which highlights the aromatic scents brought by the cigar while integrating them. It has been deliberately kept in new barrels, contrary to the usual practice (Cognacs of this age are usually kept in so-called "roux" or used barrels). The new oak brings a slight excess of "wood" which, combined with a higher degree of alcohol - 42° - offers a perfect Cognac to demanding amateurs.
Rich cherry oak color, fruity aromas of honey, dried apricot and spices. On the palate, toasted oak, wildflower honey, dried fruits and spices.
In 1858, descendant of an old Cognac family, Amédée Edouard Dor realized his dream and created the House A.E DOR. Directed today by Pierre-Antoine Rivière, it remains one of the most prestigious Cognac houses and it produces Cognac of high lineage.
