1986 Château Lieujean magnum - Haut-Médoc
Since 1868, the Seigneurie de Lieujean has been present in the commune of Saint-Sauveur, near Pauillac and the first Classified Growths. Since the 19th century, the property has been producing a Haut Médoc of character. Its vineyard is located on a terroir of fine clay and sandy gravel at an altitude of 15 meters, conducive to great finesse and freshness in the wines. The Cabernet Sauvignons and Merlots that make up the 40 hectares of the vineyard benefit from a temperate, oceanic climate thanks to the proximity of the ocean and the Gironde estuary.
A classic Cru Bourgeois, with a tannic structure characteristic of the great Médocs, a very fruity aromatic expression and a light woody touch that adds depth to the whole.
