"Very Limoux " Chardonnay 2022 - Limoux

A Chardonnay with aromas of white flowers, citrus, white peach and brioche. It reflects the terroir of Limoux, at the junction of the west (oceanic climate, bringing elegance) and the northeast (Mediterranean climate, bringing fruit and power). The result is a beautifully balanced blend of richness and freshness.

The grapes are harvested by hand and sorted to ensure that only the best grapes are pressed. The must is then transferred to 220-liter barrels for fermentation. Daily stirring of the lees for the first two months "nourishes" the wine and extracts more aroma and complexity. The wine is aged for 8 to 9 months in used oak barrels.
