Cognac A.E DOR Vieille Réserve N°9
This Cognac owes its great finesse to a blend of eaux-de-vie carefully determined by Mr. Denieul and Mr. Dor; very old Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie (80%) and very old Fins Bois (20%). This reserve is exceptional by its great age and its qualities ; it constitutes a batch limited to a few bottles.
The Reserve n°9 has been put in wax-sealed bottles after having reached, by natural evaporation, the 40° of the legal minimum. After more than 50 years spent in oak barrels, it has developed complex mushroom aromas and a characteristic taste of "rancio", much sought after by connoisseurs.
In 1858, descendant of an old Cognac family, Amédée Edouard Dor realized his dream and created the House of A.E DOR. Today, it remains one of the most prestigious Cognac houses in the world, producing high quality cognacs.
