1964 Château Cap de Mourlin - Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé - MS
Château Cap de Mourlin is located on the northern slope of Saint-Emilion, 800m from the center of Saint-Emilion. Founded in the 16th century, the vineyard extends over 14 hectares of vines on a clay-limestone and clay-silica soil. The Capdemourlin family has been present since the 16th century and gave its name to the property. Thirteen generations have succeeded one another and Jacques Capdemourlin is now in charge of the estate.
The wines are dominated by Merlot (65%), blended with Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. They offer aromas of black fruits, cherries, blackcurrants, and spicy notes.
