J. Delmare - Crémant de Loire blanc (organic)
In 2002, Mathias Levron and Régis Vincenot launched a collection of Crémant de Loire wines of exceptional quality, selected from the best terroirs located in the communes of Saint-Melaine-sur-Aubance, near Angers, and Parnay, near Saumur. J. Delmare was born.
Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Grolleau and Cabernet Franc, everything is done to obtain wines with fine bubbles and incomparable aromatic elegance. The schistous and chalky clay soils provide great finesse, and particular care is taken to ensure the quality of the grapes, both during the harvest (manual) and during the pressing and fermentation stages. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle ("traditional" method) and the wines benefit from exceptional ageing conditions in the troglodyte cellars dug into the rock of the Château de Parnay.
The J. Delmare Crémant blanc offers a nose of great complexity which combines the freshness of the Chardonnay grape (apples and acacia flowers) with the density of the Chenin (peaches and apricots). This is completed by the complexity of candied fruit notes and a touch of brioche. A no-dosage Crémant of great freshness, harmonious and lively.
