Cognac Forgeron - Barrique 94

Like all Michel Forgeron cognacs, this Cognac "Barrique 96" comes from the Grande Champagne terroir, the most prestigious in the Cognac production area. Aged for over 25 years in French oak barrels, it has been patiently reduced by the addition of distilled water, and is now offered at 47% alcohol, a good compromise between preserving taste and aroma, and power on the palate.

Discreet violet notes mingle with jasmine and green walnut. A rather floral Cognac with length and roundness.

The family estate has been in existence since 1909, and the "Michel Forgeron" brand was created in 1977. Today, Pierre and Christophe Forgeron take over from their parents Michel and Francine. They have set as their priority environmentally-friendly practices.
