Cognac Forgeron - Barrique 2.1
Like all Michel Forgeron cognacs, this Cognac Barrique 2.0 comes from the Grande Champagne terroir, the most prestigious in the Cognac production area.
Aged for 20 years in French oak barrels, it has been patiently reduced by the addition of distilled water, and is now available at 47% alcohol, a good compromise between preserving taste and aroma, and being powerful on the palate. Dark amber color. Notes of iris, vanilla and okoumé essence for the latest addition to the "Barriques" range. A very gourmand and floral Cognac that will stand out from its elder 2.0!
The family estate has been in existence since 1909, and the "Michel Forgeron" brand was created in 1977. Today, Pierre and Christophe Forgeron take over from their parents Michel and Francine. They have set as their priority environmentally-friendly practices.
