1985 Château des Laurets magnum - Puisseguin Saint-Emilion - TS
* Damaged label *
The Château des Laurets vineyard straddles the Puisseguin Saint-Emilion and Montagne Saint-Emilion appellations. The entrance to the estate overlooks a superb château built around 1860, whose distinctive architectural feature is a central octagonal tower dominating its rear and overlooking the vineyards. Set on south-facing slopes with limestone outcrops in places, this excellent terroir gives the Saint-Emilion Merlot all its power and character. Baron Benjamin de Rothschild acquired and renovated this superb estate in 2003, with a view to developing its full potential.
