Clos Manou 2019 - Médoc

A Médoc nugget: Clos Manou is an authentic wine, produced by a passionate winemaking couple who cultivate 18 hectares on several types of soil.

The average age of the vines is around forty years, and they include Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The wine is aged in barrels (70% new wood) for 17 months.

Tasting notes : Dense and powerful like a Medoc, the wine also boasts very mellow tannins. Mineral notes mingle with nuances of raspberry and redcurrant. With a high proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend, the wine has good ageing potential.
