Château Moulin Caresse "Magie d'automne" 2020 - Montravel sec

This cuvée is made mostly from Sauvignon Blanc, with just a touch of Sauvignon Gris. The grapes come from vines located on a clay-limestone plateau overlooking the Dordogne, with a beautiful southern exposure. The wine is fermented in French oak barrels, 25% of which are new, and then aged on fine lees in barrels with "rolling" of the barrels for 10 months. It offers an elegant nose, both floral and buttery, with notes of dried fruits and roasted almonds. The attack is supple with fatness in the mouth escorted by a nice mineral freshness. 

Since 1749, the estate has been passed down from generation to generation. Located close to the Périgord and 20km east of Saint-Emilion, the 52 ha property dominates the Dordogne Valley. The vineyard is rooted in the AOC Montravel and Bergerac.
