Amadis 2021 - IGP Charentais
Trained as an oenologist and passionate about great white wines, Olivier Chapt took advantage of the possible reconversion of the vineyard at the end of the 90s to diversify and create his own cuvée. From this passion, he has created two wines of great complexity, thanks to two noble grape varieties from Bordeaux and Burgundy: a sauvignon blanc that he calls Filius and a chardonnay named Amadis.
The wine is then aged for 6 months in barrels with stirring of the fine lees to obtain a remarkable aromatic richness. Olivier is an outstanding taster; he has an accredited laboratory where he receives samples of wines and spirits from all over France to detect the qualities and defects of these alcohols and provide advice to wine growers.
