Cognac Park - VSOP
Park VSOP Cognac is composed of 40% Fins Bois (roundness, suppleness and smoothness), 40% Petite Champagne (floral and fruity aromas) and 20% Grande Champagne (finesse and distinction, floral aromas).
Its fruity flavors that evoke flambéed banana and freshly picked vine peach combine in a pleasant marriage with jasmine and bergamot to celebrate an incomparable journey of the senses.
A family business created in 1880 by Gaston Tessendier, the Distillery owns today more than 25 hectares of vineyards in the heart of the most exclusive "cru" of the Cognac region: the Borderies. 4th generation Cellar Masters Lilian and Jérôme Tessendier distill, compose and blend the eaux-de-vie which, thanks to the rigor and daily attention of the whole team, will become Cognac Park. The house is know for its pure, delicate and complex style.
Dominic Park is originally from Scotland; he worked in the wine trade for 10 years in London before discovering the Cognac region. He had the idea to create a house under his name, specialized in pure distillates presented in a minimalist packaging.
In 1993, he joined forces with Jérôme Tessendier to create Cognac Park. They pioneered "handmade" cognacs, what will be called much later craft cognacs. Dominic passed the torch in 2008 and Distillerie Tessendier became the sole owner of Cognac Park.
